The regional training centres and the interregional platform will ensure long-term sustainability of the results of the LA-DEM-MED initiative.
In order to support the rule of law, media and civil society on a practical level, LA-DEM-MED will establish three regional Training Centres on Law, Democratisation and Media in Oromia, Amhara and Tigray regions.
The mandate of these three training centres is to facilitate capacity building and training, applied research, community dialogue and information exchange through public debates.
An interregional platform on Law, Democratisation and Media will take collective actions with regards to human security. The rule of law, and peace and governance, and organise interregional/national public debates on national elections in 2020-2021 and the post-election phase, as well as interregional seminars.
